The First Annual Grand Lodge Golf Tournament has been set for Monday, August 18, 2008 with proceeds to benefit the Illinois Masonic Children’s Home in La Grange IL.

The fundraiser event will take place at the Bloomingdale CC, Bloomingdale IL. and is open to members, ladies and non-Masons alike.

The tournament package of $90 per person will include greens fee, golf cart, and opportunities for door prizes, a hot dog, chips and soft drink at the turn and a dinner at the completion of golf.

There will be a shotgun start at 10:00 a.m. and is limited to the first 144 players who register. Other activities to benefit this fundraiser event will include usual hole tournaments for longest drive, longest putt, and closest to the pin (mulligans will be for sale for those who may need them).

The golf course will have drink carts moving around the course during play, with drinks available for a nominal fee.  The course also requires the use of soft spikes only and will not allow any personal coolers on the course. All drinks on the course must be purchased from the club house or drink carts.

The dinner on Monday will follow the conclusion of golf, dinner will be held outside in a picnic type setting.  Please make your reservation early and enjoy the fellowship of this great fundraiser.
